The wire EDM is a unique process for cutting difficult metals such as beryllium copper, hardened steel and others. The process uses an electrically charged wire to cut the particular shape required. The process is not particularly fast but it is very accurate and very economical when cutting metals that are difficult to process.

Many parts in production today require the addition of adhesives. It can be on the back of a part for application, or it can be used to adhere multiple material layers together. At LGS we use many of the top adhesive manufacturers, including: 3M, Adchem, Mactac, Nitto, Avery Dennison, Tesa, etc. Most materials can be bonded with an adhesive, provided that the correct one is chosen. That’s where we come in… with over 50 years experience in lamination, we will match the proper adhesive to your application.

At LGS, we pride ourselves on being a “one stop shop”. Our extensive Tool and Die operation allows us the ability to create our manufacturing tools in-house in a vast majority of cases. We achieve total process control by moving from CADCAM design to Laser burning (for steel rule dies), to die assembly, and finally to the press to cut the part. This allows you to receive your parts in the timeliest manner and at the best price.
