LGS has more than 50 years experience in the custom slitting of materials. Standard or Bologna Slitting takes place daily in our facility. We can custom cut tape for our customers or simply prep raw materials for efficient production. Our in house slitting capabilities allow us to maximize production speed and speed time to delivery.

CNC fabrication is one of the fastest growing segments of production at LGS. We are excited to be able to present a large number of options for the rapidly increasing number of highly specialized parts. All materials (elastomers, plastics, metals, sheet metal, etc.) are utilized in this area and we are ready to accept any challenge.

The wire EDM is a unique process for cutting difficult metals such as beryllium copper, hardened steel and others. The process uses an electrically charged wire to cut the particular shape required. The process is not particularly fast but it is very accurate and very economical when cutting metals that are difficult to process.

Automation is great, but sometimes there is still no substitute for good old "roll up your sleeves" manpower. At LGS we can satisfy this need with our experienced Hand Assembly team. Many times when the part is finished at the press, the job is still not done. We like to specialize in "valued added" processes. Many of these are still done by hand. Here are some examples:

Most materials can be bonded with an adhesive, provided that the correct one is chosen. Thats where we come in with over 50 years experience in lamination, we will match the proper adhesive to your application.
