Hydac Mounting Brackets

HYDAC mounting components are used to mount all types of hydro-pneumatic accumulators safely and simply, regardless of the mounting position. Our wide range includes suitable mounting
components for every type of static hydro-pneumatic accumulator.

Mounting components are used primarily for the following:

to fix the accumulator into its position
to carry the weight of the accumulator
to counteract the forces exerted by the hydraulic lines

Hydac FPK Charging

To maintain system performance HYDAC recommends that the gas precharge pressure is checked regularly. The inevitable loss of gas precharge pressure due to permeability will change the system effectiveness (performance) and could cause damage to the bladder, diaphragm, or piston accumulator.

HYDAC charging and gauging units allow hydro-pneumatic accumulators to be precharged with dry nitrogen. For these purposes, a charging and gauging unit is connected to a commercially available nitrogen bottle via a flexible charging hose.

All HYDAC charging and gauging units incorporate a gauge and check valve in the charging connection, and a manual bleed valve with a T-handle.

HYDAC offers two types of charging and gauging units:

FPK for use with HYDAC version 1 gas valve
FPS for use with HYDAC version 4 gas valve

Hydac Pulsation Dampers

Pulsations and shocks in hydraulics lines can result in costly damage to the piping and other system components. Reciprocating piston pumps by design create pressure pulsations, vibrations, and noise in the systems. HYDAC suction stabilizers, pulsations can make control in servo systems nearly impossible without installing a pulsation damperner.

HYDAC shock absorbers can be applied to greatly reduce shock wave energy. These waves can be harmful to all components in your hydraulic system. Shock waves can be created by closing a valve in a high flow line, such as one found in a petroleum terminal.

Watts Desiccant Dryers

Heatless desiccant dryers remove moisture by passing air over a regenerative adsorbent material which strips moisture from the air. They are ideal for critical high quality oil free air treatment applications where very dry air is required.

P3TJA Series Heatless Regenerative Desiccant Dryers are ideal for critical, high quality, oil free air treatment applications where very dry air is required. These dryers typically provide pressure dew points of -40F (-40C) down to -100F (-73C) pressure dew point (pdp). Beneficially, a pressure dew point of -15F (-26C) or better will not only prevent corrosion, but will also inhibit microorganisms within the compressed air system. Heatless adsorption or desiccant dryers remove moisture by passing air over a regenerative adsorbent material which strips moisture from the air. This process is known as Pressure Swing Adsorption.

Dryers of this type are extremely efficient and provide typical pressure dew points of -40F (-40C) or -100F (-73C) pdp. This means that for water vapor to condensate into a liquid, the air temperature would have to drop below -40F (-40C) to -100F (-73C) respectively. Note that the actual air temperature after an adsorption dryer is not the same as its dew point. The desiccant material is contained in two separate but identical pressure vessels, commonly referred to as twin towers. As the saturated compressed air flows up through the on line tower, its moisture content adheres to the surface of the desiccant. The dry compressed air is then discharged from the chamber into the distribution system. An onboard solid state controller automatically cycles the flow of compressed air between the towers. While the on line tower is drying, the off line tower is regenerating. Regeneration, sometimes referred to as purging, is the process by which moisture accumulated during the on line cycle is stripped away during the off line cycle. As low pressure dry purge air flows gently through the regenerating bed, it attracts the moisture that had accumulated on the surface of the desiccant during the drying cycle and exhausts that moisture laden air to atmosphere.

Hydac Safety Blocks

The versions of the HYDAC safety and locking block SAF, its special versions and the DSV10 as a simple variant of the SAF10, are practical hydraulic accessories for blocking and relieving hydraulic accumulators or consumers. They are in compliance with safety regulations in accordance with DGRL9723EG, DIN EN 982, EN 14359 and the regulations of the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health [Betriebssicherheitsverordung (BetrSichV)].
The optimum combination of the safety and shut-off blocks considerably simplifies the connection between the consumer and the hydraulic system and offer the following exemplary advantages:

Minimum of space and maintenance,
Minimum of installation required (1 SAF replaces as a rule up to 10 individual pipe connections),
considerable reduction of installation time,
adapters for various accumulator types and
additional valves (pilot-operated check valves, flow control valves, etc).
