To eliminate the need for separate fluxing, these brazing materials are either cored or coated with a brazing flux. HANDY ONE® is a flux-cored brazing material that offers numerous advantages compared to traditional metal-joining methods. It is composed of a brazing alloy in strip form rolled around a powdered flux. A variety of different filler metals and fluxes are available depending upon your temperature requirements and materials to be joined.

In addition to traditional brazing & soldering filler metals and fluxes, we offer complimentary products and unique, specialized products for use in your joining operations. Omni Stop-Off is a brazing aid used to prevent the flow of flux and metal to unwanted areas during brazing. Omni Stop-Off is commonly used in aluminum and silver brazing. Flux coated shims are a new innovative product for brazing difficult joint configurations. Omni Technologies’ flux coated shims can be used for any butt joints, saddle joints, or schrader valves. Aluminum flux coated shim eliminates pre-fluxing issues associated with conventional washers, pre-depositing of paste alloy, or a difficult wire feed operation.

We have the ability to roll your strip thicknesses not available directly from the mills. This customized service can yield strip in widths up to 6" (152.4mm) and thicknesses down to .001" (.025mm).

A Critical Piece to the Brazing and Soldering Process: Flux Brazing flux is critical to the brazing and soldering process because it minimizes the oxidation that may form on both the brazing filler metal and the materials being joined. Numerous formulations of flux are available for virtually all metal joining operations. It is a powerful general purpose flux that protects your parts up to 1600ºF (871ºC). We also offer fluxes for virtually every specialized application including formulations for high temperature and low temperature applications, furnace and induction brazing, as well as those for automatic flux dispensers.

Manufactured by high speed machines, rings maintain a true radius and may be partial turn, full turn or multiple turn. Rings inside diameter can range from 12" down to .040" and wire diameters from .125" to .008".

Lucas Milhaupt carries pre-packaged brazing filler metals, fluxes, and solders, including SIL-FOS®. SIL-FOS®, the original copperphosphorous brazing alloy, was developed and patented by Handy & Harman in 1931. Distribution Pre-packaged Products Available either in bulk or pre-packaged lots are filler metals for brazing copper-based alloys (SIL-FOS®), steels, stainless, etc. (SILVALOY® and EASY-FLO® Alloys), as well as low temperature, lead-bearing (SOLDERITE™) and no-lead solders (SILVABRITE®).
