Traditionally, ceramics have rarely been used in large armor panels for vehicle armor because of concerns with multi-hit performance. M Cubed has developed products that reduce the cost of typical vehicle armor systems, with new materials that allow larger panel sizes with unique shapes.
For Aviation Armor, M Cubed has developed and manufactured one-piece ceramic seats that have been integrated into multiple helicopter platforms. This same technology can be used to make any number of custom shapes in situations where tiled designs are either too expensive, or simply dont perform adequately.

M Cubed manufactures mirrors, metering structures, for various optical applications in defense, aerospace and precision industry applications. Our unique, directly polishable SiC products serve the need for light-weight, low CTE precision applications. One of these unique, patented specialty materials is a RBSC composite that is engineered to allow the addition of flow-through channels, ideal for critical thermal management in the use of high energy laser mirrors.

We serve a wide variety of wear, mining and refractory end-use applications with products ranging burner tubes to much larger products on the order of several feet square. Our advanced forming techniques combine well with our Reaction Bonded technology to ensure precise wear characteristics as well as dimensional stability. Typical products include, but are not limited to, burner nozzles, conical diffusers, coal deflectors, jet mill liners, and burner elbows.
