Mori Seiki, Kitamura, Brother, and OKK are the primary CNC milling machines that support our precision machining capabilities. Close tolerances of up to 0.0003” can be achieved on these CNC machines, a feature critical for military applications as they warrant high levels of safety and reliability. Computerized manufacturing process systems at our facility allow customers to track the progress of their projects at every stage of production.
At Marathon Technologies Inc., we produce precision turned components such as track pins, shafts, and torsion bars for various industries, especially the defense. Our 2, 3, and 4 axis CNC turning centers can handle cylindrical parts up to 20” in diameter and 48” in length. The maximum chucking capacity of our CNC turning centers is 10”. With over two decades of experience in manufacturing precision-machined components, MTI can process materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and tungsten to tight tolerances.
We produce intricate parts used in aircraft, automotive, and commercial applications using modern Mazak Super Turbo Mark II - X48 laser cutting machines. Operating at 2500 W, our laser cutting machines produce neat holes, smooth edgescorners, radii, or any other complex external part feature. In addition, the debris at the end of every operation is disposed carefully to allow high quality finishes. This eliminates the need for secondary deburring operations. All kinds of cutting, boring, and engraving operations can be efficiently performed at high speeds on our laser cutters. Steel, stainless steel, and aluminum material of thickness up to 34” can be laser cut.
Our CNC 6 axis wire EDM cutting machines can handle production of components, with nearly any intricate geometry, used in aerospace, military, and automotive applications. We manufacture wire EDM machined work-holding fixtures as well as dies from electrically conductive materials such as tool steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. Parts of up to 21" x 18" x 16" in size can be handled in our Sodick wire EDM machine.
