The ClearFire Economizer (ECF) is ideally suited for applications utilizing the horizontal (ClearFire-H) or vertical (ClearFire-V) boiler 10-60 HP units. Gains in efficency can reach 3-5% depending on the feedwater return temperature. The Integral economizer is available for low pressure CFH applications or the external economizer can be used in high pressure CFH or CFV needs. The Cleaver-Brooks Max-Fire boiler incorporates an integral furnace in a single shop-assembled package heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) that combines a furnace and evaporator and superheater, if applicable, with a natural circulation design. Capable of steam flows up to 300, 000 lbhr, the Max-Fire Series is offered in two different models. The MF (O-style) and MFA (A-style) models combine the waterwall combustion chamber formed from membrane wall construction with an evaporator section in a single shop-assembled boiler. The VL (O-style) and VLA (A-style) models offer an evaporator section with no furnace, but still enclosed with membrane wall construction. Our single pass designs have the steam and water drums position parallel or perpendicular to the gas flow. These designs can incorporate an internal or external superheater, sootblowers, and economizers. Our multiple pass designs include a radiant furnace section to temper the heat of the flue gases before entering the screen or main evaporator bank. These designs are available in A-type, D-type, or O-type configurations. The ClearFire-V is a carbon steel, vertical, gas-fired, steam boiler designed for the requirements of the commercial market, available in eight sizes. The AluFer® tubes with fireside extended heating surface provide maximum heat transfer and eliminate laminar gas flow during minimum firing, providing optimized efficiency throughout the firing range. The modulating premix burner control automatically adjusts the airgas mixture for 83% efficiency. The linkageless burner provides up to 5:1 turndown. 85% efficiency is achievable for high-pressure steam with an optional flue gas economizer package. The ClearFire-V comes standard with the Falcon touch-screen total boiler control to most efficiently operate your boiler system. Skid packages, including steam boiler, feed system, and blowdown separator, are available for turnkey steam solutions.
