Millerbernd fabricates rolled rings out of bars, rather than cutting rings out of plate. This reduction in costly waste and extra material handling allows us to deliver products with short lead times and lower prices to our customers. After rolling our rings; we flash-weld, stress relieve, size, flatten, and sandblast your product. We can also machine each rolled ring to your specifications. Our flash welding process ensures every ring receives a 100% full penetration weld without the use of fillers or flux resulting in a near seamless rolled ring. With our unique process we can form, weld, and machine carbon steel rings along with: stainless steel, aluminum, nickel, and other exotic alloys. Our experienced craftsmen form rolled cylinders on machines designed and built by Millerbernd. We begin fabrication by processing raw steel plate in-house. Plates are then rolled into cylinders on pinch rollers or high-tonnage bulldozers. After rolling, cylinder seams are welded with a 100%, full penetration weld. Finally, each cylinder is stress relieved, checked for perfect size and roundness, blast cleaned, and can then be machined or welded as part of a complex weldment based on your specifications. After years of supplying quality raw rings and cylinders, Millerbernd decided to increase the amount of value we could offer to our customers. Today, we offer an extensive line of CNC machining equipment that compliments the wide range of rings and cylinders we manufacture. With our unique approach, we can machine carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, nickel alloys, and some exotic materials to the most precise tolerances.

At Millerbernd, our approach to complex weldments is based on the same commitment to innovation and quality that drives all of our manufacturing processes. Millerbernd welders are American Welding Society(AWS) and Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) certified and can perform various MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and SMAW welds allowing us to manufacture some of the most complex weldments. After completion, welds are inspected by our in-house staff of American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) Certified NDT Technicians to ensure our products’ quality.
