Hoses fail for a variety of reasons, but the #1 reason is abrasion. Abrasion wears away the protective cover of a hose and exposes the wire or textile reinforcement that allows the hose to take the pressure. Once the cover wears away and the reinforcement is exposed, it is just a matter of time before the hose fails. Get ahead of this problem by using a protective hose sleeve, a support clamp, or by re-routing the hose. Hose protection is available as a nylon sleeve, plastic wrap, steel coil, and flat metal coil if you are protecting the entire length of the hose. If your hose is wearing in only 1 small section, 4″, 5″, and 6″ long hose protectors just zip-tie in place and protect just the part of the hose that is rubbing.

Hydraulic Oil is sold in numerous weights and viscosities. We stock 5 gallon pails of ISO 46, also referred to as AW46. We also stock an ATF as well. ATF or Automatic Transmission Fluid is a red fluid that can also be used in hydraulic systems. Please note which oil you need as they are NOT interchangeable. Using the incorrect hydraulic oil may cause harm to your hydraulic system.

Commonly referred to as a “gear” or “screw” or “radiator” clamp, these clamps are ideal for low pressure air and water applications. Featuring a stainless steel band, housing, and screw, these clamps are perfect for marine applications as well.

Brass ball valves work at 600 psi in 14″ thru 2″, and work at 400 psi in 3″ and 4″ sizes. Brass ball valves are stocked up to 4″ in both locations. High pressure steel ball valves are also stocked in both locations in 14″ thru 1 14″. The high pressure steel ball valves work at 5, 000 psi or more.
