Container dischargers are also commonly known as tote dumpers, box dumpers, bin dumpers, drum dumpers, gaylord dumpers, or fiber drum dumpers. NBE drum and container dischargers allow for the controlled unload and discharge of dry materials from hard-to-handle loads while reducing manual labor. Additionally, for systems where space limitations do not allow the dumper to be loaded from the front side, NBE has developed side-load hydraulic discharge systems.

NBE offers a full line of solid core screw conveyor designs to ensure safe, automated material transfer of dry bulk goods. Whether conveying bulk material from offline storage to an inline operation; or conveying dry, free-flowing material from one stage of processing to another; integrating NBE screw conveyors into new, or existing, dry bulk material handling operations will reduce labor costs and material waste, and quickly contribute to improving process efficiency and productivity. NBE u-trough screw conveyors are most often integrated into material processing operations where the need to clean the conveyor is frequently required. NBE u-trough screw conveyors are constructed for long-term industrial use. A solid core auger design, and heavy-gauge carbon steel or stainless steel trough construction will easily support and transfer dense materials, over long runs.

NBE tilt tables automatically tilt containers up to 2, 500 pounds. Floor-level tilters, originated by NBE, can accommodate pallet jack, hand truck, and forklift loading of bulk containers. Containers are loaded into the unit at floor level and begin to automatically tilt when the gaylord reaches approximately 900 pounds. As the gaylord container is being emptied, the tilt table is gradually tilted up to a maximum of 45 degrees; all material is directed into one corner ensuring complete product removal with minimal operator involvement. The standard pivot cradle is designed to accommodate containers up to 52 inches square by approximately 60 inches tall. The tilter pivot cradle can be modified to accept other container sizes. The tilter is constructed of formed 7-gauge steel. The main framework includes all necessary mounting brackets for standard and optional devices. An adjustable vacuum pick-up wand holder, with a 3-12 inch I.D, is included.

NBE batch weighing systems are integrated into dry bulk material processing operations to ensure accurate, reliable, and repeatable material delivery in bag filling, bag discharging, and material conveyance applications. NBE dry material batch weighing systems immediately contribute to processing efficiencies by reducing material waste, optimizing line speed and capacity, and helping to provide a safe operator work environment. NBE bulk bag filling equipment integrates NTEP-certified weighing systems to ensure accurate and repeatable final package production quality. NBE batch weighing systems are designed to integrate into NBE bulk bag filling units using an automated, load cell-driven scale. Bag fill-weight accuracy of plusminus 0.5% is ensured using gain-in-weight information transmitted to the programmable fill controller. Weigh system controllers are available to integrate with any gain-in-weight scale configuration and with fully automated, upstream systems.

NBE bag dump stations facilitate the integration of manually dumped dry bulk materials into all types of bulk material processing equipment, including: material mixers, agitator hoppers and bulk storage bins, size reduction equipment, and dry bulk material conveyors. Bag dump stations allow for efficient, manual introduction into processing operations of small volumes of dry bulk material from containers such as small bags, buckets, and totes. The dust collection system creates a negative pressure within the bag dump station enclosure, pulling dust-laden air through a series of high-efficiency filters. The filters collect the material dust to be recovered and returned into the process line without contamination. Material waste is reduced and facilities, equipment, and employees run at peak performance.

NBE agitator hopper units are designed to ensure consistent, reliable flow of non free-flowing material into downstream conveyance or processing equipment. NBE agitator hoppers use a combination of design features; such as a full-length discharge trough, and continuous sweep arms, to condition material discharged from bulk bags or containers. NBE agitator hopper systems prevent bridging or ratholing above the take-away inlet and provide free material flow to downstream processes. NBE u-shaped hoppers provide large capacity holding, conditioning, and transfer of hard-to-handle dry, bulk material. Constructed of heavy gauge steel, with continuous, ground and sand blasted internal seam welds to eliminate material hold-up, NBE U-shaped agitator hoppers deliver industrial grade durability, capacities up to 300 cubic feet, or 7, 000 pounds, and precision material conditioning and downstream transfer.
