The BenchWaver combines the basic rocking motion of traditional platform rockers with the circular motion of an orbital shaker. This combination is ideal for generating the optimum 3-dimensional "undulating" motion commonly preferred for molecular biology applications. The tilt angle is instantly adjustable (no tools or disassembly required) from 0 to 10 and the mixing speed can be adjusted from 5 to 105 rpm, using the large, user-friendly LCD control panel. Combined control of both parameters (tilt and speed) makes the BenchWaver a versatile workhorse that can provide anything from gentle, slow moving waves to a rapid, more vigorous motion. Additionally, time of operation can be selected from 1 minute up to 99 hours or for continuous operation. The large 13.5 x 13 inch platform is supplied complete with a non-slip, rubber mat. An optional stacking platform is available for users requiring additional mixing capacity.

The Labnet Economy Rockers, ProBlot 25 and 25XL, are basic rocking platforms that have been designed for a long life and trouble-free service. Rocker speed is adjustable to provide the gentle motion required for staining fragile gels as well as the more vigorous action necessary for washing blots. The rocking movement is fixed at 7. The platform surfaces are covered with nonslip rubber pads to prevent objects from moving during operation. Elastic tie downs are available to secure in place bags, boxes, tubes and other containers. The platform assemblies pivot on permanently lubricated ball bearings for quiet, maintenance-free operation. The ProBlot 25 platform measures 28.9 x 20.3 cm, while the ProBlot 25XL platform is slightly larger at 30 x 30 cm. For increasing the work area without sacrificing valuable bench space, a second platform can be stacked on the first. The unique design of this instrument allows for mixing tubes horizontally, vertically, or at any position in between, simply by turning the rotisserie plate. Rotating tubes horizontally produces a gentle mixing motion for applications such as hybridization. Turning the rotisserie plate 90o, so that the tubes are positioned vertically results in an end over end tumbling action, such a that required foro mixing samples in blood tubes. Any position between these two extremes can be selected to produce the desired level of agitation. Each rotisserie consists of two plates that can be adjusted independently of each other, thus allowing two types of motions to occur simultaneously in the same rotisserie. Rotisserie plates may be mixed and matched. With it compact, portable design, the Revolver is easily transported from the bench to the cold room or incubator. The molded housing and rotisserie assembly are designed for easy cleaning and decontamination. A 36 x 1.52.0 mL rotisserie is supplied with the unit. Rotisserie assemblies are also available for 151075 mL tubes as well as 50mL tubes.
