Diamond hole saws are typically used for cutting very abrasive non-ferrous materials. A Niabraze diamond saw will out perform and outlast conventional toothed hole saws. NIABRAZE manufacture’s its diamond hole saws via a vacuum brazing process. Again, a mono-layer of diamond is bonded to the steel core but rather than an electroplated nickel matrix, filler metal is the bonding agent at very high temperatures in brazing furnaces. By doing so we can further improve the overall diamond exposure while maintaining excellent adhesion.

Diamond encapsulation is approximately 50% to ensure proper adherence while still having 50% of the crystal exposed cutting. This creates an efficient and aggressive cut and long blade life. Abrasive Circular SawsThe diamond grit size chosen often times will be application specific. A coarse diamond grit will allow for greater exposure, longer blade life, aggressive higher feed rate cutting but will create a rougher finish. Using a finer grit diamond will greatly improve cut finish and prevent any material chipping but blade life will decrease. Along with various grit sizes we can make your circular blades with various edge configurations. Blades can be either continuous, slotted, or segmented and have anywhere from a square edge to full radius. We have inventoried circular blades of common used blades but more importantly will custom manufacturer blades from 1” up to 46” in diameter. Diamond CBN Wheels NIABRAZE offers both electroplated and brazed diamond and cubic boron nitride (CBN) wheels in a variety of shapes, sizes, and forms. Whether it be form or profiling, mounted or drum, we can produce virtually any type of wheel configuration to your exact specifications. Thickness and grit limitations do exist for our brazing because of the extreme processing temperatures. Our electroplated and brazed products are a mono-layer of diamond or CBN bonded to the wheels grinding surface. Unlike impregnated metal, vitrified, & resin bonded products the diamondCBN grit is not buried thus protruding from the matrix providing a freer, faster cutting action with minimum heat generation. NIABRAZE diamond and CBN wheels are frequently used for grinding operations, facing operations, profiling, contouring and cutting. Diamond would be used for very abrasive non-ferrous materials while we’d suggest using CBN for hardened ferrous alloys. Wheels can be used in the roughing or finishing stages with grit sizes ranging from 2030 down through 800 mesh particles.
