The threaded body allows the user to adjust the height of the gripper. The serrated carbide tip provides sure holding and long life. The body is made from alloy steel and hardened to Rc 3237 with a black oxide finish. The serrated carbide pad is brazed onto a pocket in the head. Other sizes available.

Product Information The new threaded adapter is designed to accept any internally threaded knob or handle. Available with or without locking element. Material is 12L14 steel or 303 stainless. The nylon locking element holds the plunger body securely in place without the need for lock nuts or other devices. We recommend a 90 degree countersink 132" larger than the major diameter of the mating thread to prevent damaging the element. Plunger can be withdrawn completely into the body and locked in a fully retracted position. To engage the plunger, simply turn to line up with slot in body.

Stainless steel bodies are 303 stainless. Balls are 440 stainless steel. To prevent possible spring damage, use of a Northwestern Wrench is recommended when installing from plunger end.
