LOW MAINTENANCE Our battery design incorporates the most recent technology. The NPX batteries integrates the latest oxygen recombination technology to effectively control generations of gas during normal use. With our lead-acid battery packs, there is never any need to check specific gravity or replace or top off water. All that is needed is a discharge and charge every six months to preserve battery life. NON-SPILLABLE BATTERY The battery pack’s unique sealed lead acid construction eliminates electrolyte leakage from a terminal or the case, ensuring safe, efficient operation. OPERATE IN ANY ORIENTATION The combination of the sealed construction and the unique electrolyte suspension system allows operation in any orientation, vertically or horizontally, with no loss of performance or fear of electrolyte leakage. However, inversion should be avoided. VALVE REGULATED DESIGN – EFFICIENT GAS RECOMBINATION The batteries are equipped with a simple, safe, low pressure venting system which releases excess gas and automatically reseals should there be a build up of gas within the battery due to severe overcharge. HOT AND COLD WEATHER OPERATION Lead-acid battery packs can be used over a broad range of ambient temperatures, allowing considerable flexibility in system design and location. ELECTROLYTE SUSPENSION SYSTEM – MODEL SPECIFIC (CALL FOR INFO) The NPX series batteries utilize unique electrolyte suspension system incorporating a micro-fine glass mat to retain the maximum amount of electrolyte in the cells. The electrolyte is retained in the separator material and there is no free electrolyte to escape from the cells. No gels or other contaminants are added. LOW SELF-DISCHARGE FOR LONGER LIFE – MODEL SPECIFIC (CALL FOR INFO) At ambient temperatures between 20°C and 25°C, the self-discharge rate of the lead-acid battery pack is less than 3% per month. This allows storage for up to six months without significant state-of-charge loss.
