Casings and housings complement our line of seamless pipe.
Smaller OD casings and housing (2 10) are generally produced from extruded pipe.
Larger housings (11 14 OD) are produced in a process referred to as back extrusion.
In this process material is displaced from the ID of the part to form the OD.
The resulting product is exceptionally sound and for costly materials offers costs savings versus producing from solid sections.
A major application for this product is equipment housings for subsea applications.

Clad Metals
Nu-Tech has been producing co-extruded clad metal rounds, rectangles, shapes and hollows for over 30 years. The metals we have worked with include:

Nu-Tech combines its pipe and shape producing capabilities to produce hollow sections with contoured ODs and IDs.
Products such as those shown below are produced for nuclear and medical applications as well as for industrial and office equipment manufacture.

We produce more titanium pipe and tube than any other alloy we offer. Nu-Tech has the unique ability to extrude titanium alloy pipe, such as 6-4, and obtain microstructures and properties identical to that achieved by boring solid bar. View Titanium Pipe Properties
Pipe Finishing
As a result of our roots in Canadas nuclear industry, Nu-Tech has the ability to finish pipe if required to our customers most exacting requirements. Capabilities include:

OD grinding
contour machining & threading
