We are manufacturer and exporters of Regulin Forte (Capsules) for Irregular Menstrual Cycle. Description The mean age of menarche is 13 years and that of menopause is 50 years. The duration of menses is 5 days (3-8d) and cycle is that of 28 days (21-35d). Prostaglandins are maximal just prior to mense and initiate menstrual blood flow by causing constriction of spinal arterioles and stimulating myometrial contractions. The menstrual system in female operates for about 28 days. During 1st half of the cycle -uterus prepares itself for pregnancy -i.e. making itself ready to receive the fertilized egg or ovum -which is released from one or the other ovaries, around the 14th day of the cycle. The process of pregnancy -however continues only if the ovum is fertilized on its way to the womb. In the days leading to the ovulation (i.e. from 14th -25th days), the cells of the lining of the womb, which is called collectively THE ENDOMETRIUM gets thickened. This process of thickening continues until lining is about 6 mm. thick. This lining is richly supplied with blood vessels, which constrict if fertilization of the ovum does not occur. This cuts blood supply to the endometrium, causing it to shed its contents, which occurs in the form of menstruation. This lasts for 3 to 5 days, depending upon the volume of the contents. At the end of cycle, the cycle starts again. Hormones from the pituitary gland and the ovaries control the menstrual cycle. Theses hormones are called the PROGESTRONES. After the menstruation, the level of the progesterone is decreased.. At this stage pituitary, gland secretes a hormone called the follicle stimulating hormone i.e. F.S.H. which stimulates the development of ovum simultaneously pituitary gland also secretes another hormone called ESTROGEN. (By the graffian follicle) which covers the ovum. Thus estrogen causes thickening of the lining of womb. After 9th days -the pituitary secretes another hormone called LEUTENIZING HORMONE i.e. L.H. hormone into the blood. Under the influence of L.H. the mature ovum ruptures expelling ovum. This process of expulsion of the ovum is called process of OVAULATION, it also cause the formation of yellowish material called the Corpeus Luteum. The corpus luteum secretes hormones called PROGESTERONE -which together with estrogen prepares the lining of the womb to receive the FERTILISED OVUM. It fertilization does not occur AROUND THE 25TH DAY -the progesterone & estrogen cease and blood level of these hormones fall dramatically. No longer supported by the female hormones the lining or the womb degenerates & breaks, and contents are shed in the form of menstruation & the whole cycle is repeated.
