The Voltage Sensor measures the differential voltage between the input terminals and outputs the difference proportionally. The maximum differential voltage that can be measured accurately is ±30V.
The 3855 Enclosure is designed to protect the 1048 - PhidgetTemperatureSensor 4-Input while still giving you access to the USB port through an opening in the enclosure. There are mounting holes that go through the bottom of the enclosure, so the board can be mounted to a flat surface and the cover can snap on top.
This connector is the female half of a connection that will allow two cables to be securely connected while protecting the connection from the elements. It also allows for quick and easy detaching if you want to switch between external sensors for example. This unit is designed to connect to an enclosure and allow you to plug cables into the enclosure. These waterproof cable connectors allow you to connect 2 cables together while protecting the connection from the elements.
The 3800 Enclosure is designed to protect the Rev 0 version of the 1002 – PhidgetAnalog 4-Output while giving you access to all terminals and connectors through openings in the enclosure. You can plug and unplug cables, connect and disconnect devices, without having to open the enclosure. This particular revision of the enclosure has thicker tabs for increased durability. Note: The Phidget board is not included with the enclosure and must be purchased separately.
When you need to pass a cable into a waterproof enclosure you need to drill a hole in the enclosure. This of course makes it no longer water tight. To solve this, you can use a cable gland to make a water tight seal around the cable you are passing into the enclosure. This gland is suitable for cables from 3.5 - 8mm in diameter. These waterproof cable glands allow you to pass cables into your waterproof enclosure without letting water in.
With an IP65 rating, this enclosure will protect your Phidgets from the elements. With proper installation of the foam rubber sealing ring, even the heaviest of rainstorms won't get through. All that is needed to assemble is a Phillips screwdriver. This small project box keeps your Phidgets safe from pokes, prods, and foreign debris.
