Nasal cannula bodies are Piper's specialty. We've been dipping them since 1972.

Piper helped develop the military plastisol coating specification in the 1960's. That spec., MIL-P-20689 has been superseded by A-A-59464. Piper has been performing these coating services since it's inception in 1963.

These parts showcase both dip molding and dip coating. The ADA act of 1990 set out rules for all under sink fittings so that no injuries occur to those with disabilities. This customer's solution was to have Piper produce molded and coated products to be installed under the sinks of all public spaces. The material used for these items contains a special agent which make these products exhibit anti-microbial properties.

A custom plastisol, and very stringent automotive specifications and quality requirements were required for us to produce this seat belt system component.

Piper has been dip molding enema tips since 1992. We also manufacture a silicone rubber inflation cuff that can be glued to these tips. We can manufacture these items in single lumen form, like the green item in this photo, as well as dual and tri lumen configurations as shown. We can use non-phthalate plastisol when required.

Piper has been rotationally molding Anesthesia Mask Cushions since 1973. We use a soft, non-toxic natural plastisol.

This customer requested a "swirl" techinique, which combines two different fluorescent colors in a tie-dye fashion. Piper developed materials and processes to achieve this customer's goals!

The challenge here was to combine both coating and molding into one part. The fittings are coated with high dielectric strength material, and all the flanges are molded from the same material at the same time. When everything is tightened down, these fittings are water tight.

Dip molded spring reinforced tubing has become a specialty of Piper since the late 1990's. These tubes are used in perfusion, the connection of a patient to a heartlung machine during cardiac surgery. The material is ultra clear and approved for blood contact, and we manufacture these parts bubble free. Ask what Piper can do for you if you have a similar application.

Piper has been dip molding stethoscope tubing in custom colors since 1998. We can manufacture these items with a single lumen or with two for binaural applications. We use non-phthalate plastisol that has properties which make it gentle on physician's skin, as stethoscopes are typically stored around the neck when not being used.
