www.pirtekusa.com Whip Checks System KEEPING THE WORKPLACE SAFE Whip Checks are a retention system designed to stop hoses which have become disconnected from a piece of equipment or through catastrophic failure. Whip Checks comprise of two components. First, is the hose safety clamp, the second is a safety cable that connects to the equipment using a high tensile steel bolt. There are two different ways secure the cables to the equipment. The first is by using a bolt which is fitted to a Code 61 or a Code 62 flange. The second is to attach the cable using steel eyelet mounting bracket and a high tensile steel bolt to secure it directly to the equipment.
