uanTanium® is an internally reinforced multi-coat nonstick coating system. The tough titanium alloys incorporated into the coating give it superior scratch resistance and excellent durability. It is utilized on a variety of parts across many industries, but is ideal for cookware and bakeware. QuanTanium® can be applied to virtually all metals that can be heated to 800°F. Typical dry film thickness is .0010” - .0015”. QuanTanium® is FDA conforming and has a maximum operating temperature of 500°F. Find the right industrial coating
Halar® ECTFE is a partially fluorinated semi-crystalline polymer offering a unique combination of mechanical properties, permeation resistance, thermal and chemical resistance, and versatility. Halar® ECTFE is a melt processable fluoropolymer manufactured by Solvay Solexis. Its unique combination of properties is credited to its chemical structure, a 1:1 alternating copolymer of ethylene and chlorotrifluoroethylene. Halar® coatings provide outstanding chemical resistance. It is resistant to strong mineral and oxidizing acids, alkalis, metal etchants, liquid oxygen, and essentially all organic solvents except hot amines. Halar® coatings provide good electrical properties, a broad use temperature range from cryogenic to 300°F (150°C), meets the requirements of UL-94V-O vertical flame test in thicknesses as low as 7 mils (0.18mm) and in some cases meets USP Class VI and FDA food contact (21 CFR) requirements. It is a tough material with excellent impact strength. These characteristics have made Halar® the material of choice for many applications across multiple industries. It has been widely utilized in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and microelectronics industries for chemical resistance. Since 1990 Halar® powder coatings have been successfully used for corrosion protection of exhaust duct systems that must meet the FM 4922 fire safety standard. Halar® coatings have also been used to replace PVDF sheet linings in ultrapure water (UPW) systems. As you can see, Halar® is a versatile material with almost limitless applications. Dykor is a specialty line of coatings that combines resins from the polyvinylidene (PVDF) family and appropriate fillers (typically graphite and mica). The system provides outstanding chemical, corrosion, and UV resistance. Typical dry film thickness is 0.002" to 0.020". Dykor® can be applied to most metal substrates that can be heated to 550°F. It is often used in the semiconductor, medical and chemical processing industries because of its excellent resistance to most solvents and chemicals and high dielectric strength. Available in 12 standard colors and can be "color matched" upon request (additional fees may apply). Maximum operating temperature is 275°F. Dykor® is also utilized in electrical insulation applications since it has a high dielectric strength (950 volts per mil).
