At Plastic Products, Inc., we are established experts at standard and advanced machining of plastics. We operate an ISO 9001:2008 certified facility that provides cutting edge quality and production capacity made possible by our CNC machining capabilities and an internal emphasis on precision and accuracy. Operating in a 20, 000 sq. ft. facility that integrates Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing principles, we are able to meet the demands of the most complex requirements.Our investment into automated manufacturing allows us to deliver a greater range of machining processes without sacrificing efficiency or quality. We offer traditional processes including milling, turning, drilling, boring, threading, countersinking, and facing, as well as processes such as gear hobbing, knurling, profiling, thread milling, spline cutting, and others. We operate CNC and manually controlled machines that can turn and mill Vespel, Delrin, Nylon, PTFE, Torlon, and much more, and feature three to four movement axis. Our precision lathes can accommodate workpieces up to 8" long and 116" to 12" in diameter, while our mills can work parts up to 15" wide by 20" long and 16" high, all to 0.0005" tolerances.In addition to plastics machining, we also work with approved vendors for such services as anodizing, grinding, heat treatment, passivation, CAD design & consulting, and extensive quality inspection. We presently accept orders ranging in size from small to medium quantities and support short run contracts. Plastic Products can also use its experience in prototyping and research & development for new product design. We complete orders with four to six week lead times on average, with additional expedite services available.
