Manifolds combine several components into a single deliverable item. Devices such as solenoid operated control valves, relief valves, pneumatic dump valves, pressure transducers & isolation valves can be combined for ease of installation on the aircraft. PDI specializes in manifolds with each element as an LRU for maintenance considerations.

Reservoirs maintain return system (low pressure) charge by using system (high) pressure to prevent pump cavitation as various hydraulic functions are activated. Accommodates system volume changes as different system components are activated and use system fluid.

PDI is the world leader in custom bootstrap reservoir designs for the regional and business jet segments. Reservoir volumes from 150 to over 1000 cubic inch include visual and electrical volume indication, along with options for overfill protection, temperature & pressure monitoring and manual bleeding provisions.

PDI has a wide range of hydraulic utility components. Hydraulic fuses in both volumetric and velocity types, shuttle valves, relief valves and check valves in cartridge and in-line styles, pressure reducing valves, balanced relief valves, all can be customized to meet any hydraulic system application.

Uses pressurized nitrogen to maintain adequate pressure in the hydraulic system. Often useful for maintaining reserve system pressure levels during short-term system shutdowns.

Accumulator designs in volumes from 10 to 400 cubic inches. PDIs designs meet the latest Part 25 requirements for 4 times operating for burst pressure. Can be provided with charging valve and pressure gauge. Some designs utilize a PDI proprietary equalization device which further minimizes pneumatic pressure losses over the life of the aircraft.

Direct-acting and piloted versions with fl ow rates from below 1 GPM through 40 GPM available. Low leak rates, pressure to open and close, and normally open or closed SOVs come in either single or dual coil designs with wiring or connectors.

Solenoid Operated Valves cover a wide range of applications, from 2 position shut-off valves to 3 position, 4 way control valves. PDI designs and manufactures solenoid valves in single and dual coil varieties. Pilot operated designs are available in 1 to 40 GPM designs.
