Whether sourced from plantations or state forests, our hardwoods are all harvested in accordance with the best sustainable forestry practices.Tongue and groove solid strip flooring is precision-milled, providing a wear layer that can be refinished many times over. Wooden T&G flooring is designed to be laid directly onto joists, battens (over concrete) or even nailed to existing timber flooring. Common board widths are: 60, 80, 130, and 180mm and custom-made sizes reach from 200 to 240mm.

Engineered flooring combines the sophistication of real timber with an ingenious construction delivering a stable floor and making installation easy. The technology and look of engineered flooring has advanced greatly over the past decade. An engineered floor is a multilayered T&G timber board. The change of direction of the multiple layers increases the strength of the product. Quality engineered floors offer far greater stability than solid timber flooring, enabling the use of much wider floorboards without the inherent risk of movement known to solid floors.Very natural looking finishes turn the engineered floors into more than just an alternative to solid timber.

Parquetry is as popular in the twenty first century as it was hundreds of years ago when installed in old palaces and mansions. Parquetry blocks are precision-milled and designed to be glued down over a solid, flat subfloor. Finishing with a custom-made stain or liming solution provides clients with a stunning fusion of old and new. Block parquetry can be laid in a wide variety of patterns, such as ‘Chevron’, ‘Herringbone’, and ‘Basket Weave’. We also offer custom-made designs, such as oversized ‘Square on Square’ patterns. Parquetry is designed to be glued down over a solid and flat subfloor. Standard available block sizes reach from 260x65mm to 600x100mm.

Recycled timber is history-soaked! It is generally salvaged timber from demolitions of large, old buildings, such as wool stores, army barracks, and wharves. The timber has been allowed to season gradually over a long period of time - sometimes up to 100 years - and, as a result, is more stable than most kiln dried timber. Each timber board tells a story and is rich in character and charm; this is what makes recycled timber so unique. Just like solid timber recycled timber is ‘Tongue and Grooved’ and available board sizes range from 60x19mm to 260x23mm. Generally available are timber species, such as Grey Ironbark, Spotted Gum, Blackbutt, and Jarrah.
