THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE USING ALTERNATIVES TO REAL WOOD:

Wooden decks are much cooler in direct sunlight.
Other products are more expensive.
Other products contract and expand much more when the temperature changes.
Other products sag much easier than wood, because wood is stronger due to the strength of the natural wood grain.
A regular sales pitch for other products, is that it doesnt need treatment. Unfortunately this is not true. It also fades!

PRODUCT FEATURES:The entire range can be standard or custom designed. Manufactured from Dolf or Meranti Wood.

SECTIONAL BONDING: We use an imported water resistant glue to ensure permanent bonding.

GLAZING: Windows & Doors are glazed with wooden beads using a wind and water resistant sealant.

FLY SCREENS: can be fitted on requested.

BURGLAR BARS: Metal burglar bars painted with satin finish brown are available for the windows.

TREATMENT: All our windows & doors are primarily treated at the factory with a high quality U.V. resistant preservative.

TRANSPORT: We offer safe transport for our product at an additional cost.

INSTALLATION: Our experienced installation team can do the installation at an additional cost, alternatively any average quality builder can fit our windows and doors, by plastering door and window openings to our specified measurements.

Our Cupboards are manufactured to standard or customized dimensions, giving you an unlimited range of choices for your desired design. Manufactured mostly from Melamine Wood. Special designs also made out of spray painted MDF or Veneer.

TOPS: Available in Formica, Granite, Ceaser Stone etc.

FITTINGS: All fittings are carefully selected & tested to ensure a long lasting usage. Soft closing is our standard, giving a unique feel to your cupboards.

Project: House du Randt
For this project a combination of solid wood, bleach finishes, melamine and wrapping with granite tops was used to create a cottage style kitchen. The ceramic basin, butcher block, woven baskets, lighting and appliances, were all supplied and installed by Prestige Wooden Products.
