This alarm bell features a corrosion resistant red enamel finish, heavy steel gong, and an easy to install 4 wire design. It is UL listed. Upon activation of a fire sprinkler or other trigger, this fire alarm bell from QRFS sounds a 98 decibel audible alarm.

Fire Sprinkler Helpful Tips:

Tip 1: It is recommended that a qualified professional replace fire sprinklers or in any other way modify a fire sprinkler system.

Tip 2: A fire sprinkler's size describes the inner orifice diameter - either half (12") or three-quarter (34") inch. The outer diamter of a (12") sprinkler's threads equals three-quarters. The other diameter of a (34") sprinkler's threads is almost one inch.

Tip 3: Try always to match the sprinkler's response type to the one you're replacing. Replace quick response fire sprinklers with quick response fire sprinklers. Replace standard response fire sprinklers with either quick response or standard response. Equal or better!

Tip 4: Spare fire sprinkler heads and a wrench should be accessible at all times in a facility with a commercial fire sprinkler system installed. Often state regulations apply, too. Check with your local fire department.

Tip 5: Fire sprinkler systems should be visually inspected often and professionally inspected annually.

Slightly more heavy-duty than plastic break caps, these aluminum break caps are still a a low-cost alternative to traditional brass plugs. Keep vandals away! Easily broken with the butt of an ax.

1. Attach the SprinklerVac to your vacuum hose, ensuring it is securely fastened.
2. Assess the size and accessibility of your sprinkler heads to ensure the SprinklerVac will clean them "touchlessly". If it will touch the fire sprinkler, hold the SprinklerVac attachment far enough below the sprinkler head so the SprinklerVac does not touch the fire sprinkler.
3. Turn the vacuum on.
4. Safely place the SprinklerVac near or over the fire sprinkler. Look through the clear plastic to monitor your placement and cleaning progress. The logo on the SprinklerVac is in the shape of a fire sprinkler. Turn the SprinklerVac around so the logo is facing away from you to use the outline as a guide for better placement.
5. Watch the dust, dirt, and cobwebs whirl away!

Clean up is simple, too! Use warm water to rinse the SprinklerVac and a soft cloth to dry it.
