The highly recommended Sonic 2024 Wideband Multibeam Echosounder represents the latest in advanced modern system design and architecture, providing unprecedented system versatility, productivity and performance. The 2024 truly sets the standard for this class of MBES. The Sonic 2024 system can be upgraded to Ultra High Resolution – providing extremely narrow beam widths at 700kHz operation. The narrow beam widths at 700 kHz make this option invaluable for detail offshore site surveys such as pipeline inspections, cable laying operations, archeological wreck surveys or other micro bathymetry applications. When UHR™ is selected, the beam width is 0.3° x 0.6° (2024) , 0.6° x 0.6° (2022) and 1⁰ x 1⁰ (2020), providing unprecedented small bottom footprints. Achieve soundings in excess of 450m below sonar using Continuous Wave techniques. The 2024 is perfect for projects that need the best resolution. Contact us for older technology systems. The Sonic 2022 is highly portable – at 60% the size of a full length Sonic 2024 receiver array. The form factor makes it ideal for integration into small AUV, ROV, or small boat operations. Customers around the world are able to sound to depths between 350-450m or more in most typical environments using the 20242022 systems. Enjoy the latest advanced technology giving you versatility, productivity and performance – that’s what the Sonic 2026 Broadband Multibeam Echosounder delivers. The latest advanced technology, with versatility, productivity and performance – that’s what the Sonic 2026 Broadband Multibeam Echosounder delivers. Major components include: A compact projector, receiver, and a small dry side Sonar Interface Module. The extremely low power draw of 75W makes it possible to operate the system on vessel battery power. Focused 0.45° x 0.45° beamwidths with up to 800m+ or more sounding depths* Optional 90kHz100kHz operation for extended range coverage. Unlike other commercial shallow water multibeam echosounder systems, R2Sonic’s sonar processing is embedded in the receiver, dramatically increasing system efficiency and simplicity in integration. The compact size, low weight, low power consumption and elimination of separate topside processors makes the SONIC 2026 system well suited for small survey vessel or ROVAUV operations. Basic mounting hardware is supplied as standard with each system, including dual head mounting br
