Ratchet Load Binder

Whether you are looking for one ratchet load binder or several, Samco has a variety of sizes to meet most applications. In addition to selling ratchet load binders, we also sell a variety of sizes of lever load binders. A load binder is often used to bind or to tighten a chain that is securing a heavy load or large structure. The ratchet load binder helps stabilize the load during transportation.
Ratchet load binders are used in the offshore oil, trucking, agriculture, timber, and mining industries. The ratchet load binder can be used with several binders to secure materials and cargo loaded onto trucks, ships or out at sea on an oil rig platform.
A lever load binder is often not as strong as a ratchet load binder when increased leverage or pull on a chain is required. The binders are classified according to the size of chain hooks for which they have been designed. It is important to remember that any tool needs to be operated safely and within a particular working load limit (WLL) to avoid serious injury from improper use. Ratchet load binders are easier to use than level type binders.

Trailer Connectors

Samcos has a wide range of Truck & Trailer Connectors to aid in connecting truck and trailers. We offer truck connectors and trailer connectors, as well as other accessories such as anchor bed liners, winches, side stake connectors, and winch bars.
Before selecting the correct truck & trailer connectors, we like to remind customers to think about such things as the vehicles maximum towing capacity or the load weight. The proper sizing of the tow vehicle is a critical component of safe trailer towing and determining proper trailer hardware. Another important factor to determine is the Gross Vehicle Weight Restriction or GVWR of the vehicle. This is usually quite easy, it can be found on the label inside the drivers door.
For the trailer connectors, be sure to think about the type of trailer, the gross weight, the tongue weight, and the size of the coupler ball, to name a few elements that come into play for safe towing. These are only a few things to remember as you look through Samcos truck & trailer connectors and other truck & trailer accessories.

MUSHROOM ANCHORS

Samco has been producing and selling horizon and mushroom anchors for a variety of marine applications since 1981. The Horizon anchor is typically used with lighter or smaller fishing and pleasure boats. It is designed to allow the boat to make a 360 degree turn without releasing itself from the sea bed. It also is built to align with the force of the wind or tide, therefore limited the chance that it will break out of the sea bed with wind or tide changes.
The mushroom anchors marine use is mainly as a mooring anchor for smaller boats. This is due to the anchors limited holding power. This anchor also is limited for use in specific sea bed conditions. It is designed to create suction in soft sea bottom conditions. It can also be used to secure small ocean markers or buoys. Also many oil and gas companies will place seismic machines and other markers in the ocean with the aid of mushroom anchors.
Samcos horizon and mushroom anchors come in a variety of weights for use with different types of boats, buoys and marine markers.
