Laser cut lettering and shapes for decorative art and sculptures Five to ten sets of these lettering and decorative shapes were manufactured every year for a Pennsylvanian customer specializing in custom artwork. These custom letters and shapes were produced through precision laser cutting processes at tight tolerances of +- 0.015". Corrosion resistant, high grades of stainless steel material, with a thickness range between 16 ga and ¼", was used to produce these unique parts. Manufactured in sizes ranging from 28" to 96", the laser cut letters were used in different types of sculptures and decorative art.
Laser cut wheel centers for industrial vehicles with an ID 16 bolt hole pattern and an OD 20 bolt hole pattern We manufactured these wheel centers for an industrial tire supplier with a unique 16-ID and 20-OD bolt hole pattern. Laser-cut and machined to +- 0.020" tolerances, these parts were painted before delivery. A quarter or one-inch thick steel plate was used to manufacture these wheel centers. To suit diverse industrial vehicle application, we machined these parts with wheel widths of 7", 8", 9" or 10". Wheel center weights ranged from 200 lbs to 350 lbs. We produced more than 100 of these wheel centers annually.
Around 200 pieces of these 81.5" L x 8.25" H custom parts were produced annually at Smucker Laser. We manufacture them for a Pennsylvania-based customer specializing in the manufacture of standard sized car haulers and dump trailers. Laser cut from 316" thick plate steel material, these utility trailer parts were manufactured to tight tolerances of +- 0.010". Forming and painting were also performed as secondary operations.
