IAC Acoustics (a division of Sound Seal, Inc) designs and manufactures a broad range of high performing noise control products used to create solutions for industrial, commercial and architectural noise control problems. We have readily available noise control products that block, stop and absorb noise that can be used in almost any application. AC Bafl-Sorb sound absorbing ceiling baffles are a very cost-effective way to reduce reverberation time and eliminate sound reflections from the ceiling in any environment resulting in dramatic improvements in overall acoustics. IAC offers a complete line of Bafl-Sorb Sound Absorbing Ceiling Baffles to treat any space that are suitable for industrial, commercial and institutional applications. By eliminating built up sound due to noise reflections, overall sound exposure (TWA) can be dramatically reduced! Installing absorptive ceiling baffles is an easy, economical way to create a safer and more productive workspace.

Baffles can be installed in rows, egg-crate grid or other patterns for optimal distribution and appearance. We offer a wide variety of styles, materials, colors and sizes to meet just about any desired performance, budget and interior design. Most styles meet ASTM-E84 Class I fire ratings.

Controlled Acoustic Environment Repeatable Test Accuracy Economical Durable

IAC can design and manufacture engineered acoustical test chambers that will either isolate the test chamber from the ambient providing a specific, controlled interior acoustical environment in which to perform accurate and repeatable testing; or to enclose the test and contain and isolate high sound levels generated by the test from reaching the ambient.

The design method and materials of construction will depend largely upon the performance criteria specified for any given project. The most common project will be shipped as modular components and assembled on site. IAC will also provide factory pre-assembled chambers that are portable robust structures complete with isolated floors when required.

Most typical applications can be designed around a version of our Moduline modular acoustical panel line as the basis of construction featuring a wide range of performance in a single wall chamber design. For those applications specifying more stringent performance criteria, we can enhance the panel construction to achieve greater performance, utilize a double-wall chamber design or a combination of thereof.

IAC can design and manufacture engineered test chambers that will provide a specific, controlled acoustical environment in which to perform accurate and repeatable testing of many types. From a table top chamber to a small vehicle test cell, we will custom design a system specifically for your testing criteria. Our acoustical test cambers provide high sound isolation from ambient environment, low interior sound level, with reverberation or anechoic characteristics. We design acoustical test chambers for the automotive, energy, telecommunications, aerospace and consumer products industries as well as for use by universities, OEMs and government clients.

Using our high STC rated modular acoustical metal panels to construct the superstructure and tuned anechoic wedges to line the interior, we can design systems to provide interior sound levels of 35 dBA or less with low frequency cut off from 80 Hz to 250 Hz.We offer a variety of accessories such as automatic sliding parts doors, integrated ventilation systems, data entry sleeves, interior lighting, etc., to meet your project requirements.
