It is important to maintain an atmosphere inside a building that is conducive to allowing equipment to operate effectively. Specific Systems InPac PPUs are designed and manufactured to provide those necessary interior conditions. Specific Systems InPac™ Series wall-mounted industrial severe duty and explosion proof HVAC units are engineered and proven to provide safe air conditioning and stand up to the rigors and harsh conditions of corrosive and hazardous environments, including those found in refineries, waterwastewater treatment plants, and on oil drilling rigs and offshore processing plants.

On the AirPak product line, the upblast plenum works in the same manner as that on the InPac line, by rotating the blowers to the move air through the top of the cabinet into a plenum that typically connects to ductwork higher in the building.

Much like a typical residential HVAC system, InPac environmental control units can be ordered in a configuration that separates the condenser and evaporator sections for mounting in different areas of an enclosure.

As one of our most popular options, pad mounting is best used on permanent structures and when wall space is at a premium. The included duct mate flanges help minimize wall perforations and let you choose points of entry that meet the requirements for each building individually, which works even better on the larger 35-50 ton unit sizes.
