Spraymation Air Operated ELECTROMATIC Applicator Heads are extremely fast, and perform accurately and repeatably. It is "air open and closed" to assure rapid operation and clean pattern start-up and cut-off. Spraymation designs differ from most others. All seals are spring loaded graphite filled Teflon for long high speed life. All wetted parts are stainless steel or Teflon. The proven Spraymation seat and needle geometry are also used. These applicators are well suited to high flows, high viscosities, high pressures, and hazardous locations. Highest flow units have orifices sizes of .25 inch (6.3mm) for very high flow rates. Models are available for operating pressures to 5, 000 PSI (340Bar). They are well suited to high viscosity materials. Various tips and nozzles are available.

The Spraymation Mini ELECTROMATIC applicators have been improved! Coils and springs have been changed to increase operating speeds and allow for a wider range of viscosity's to be used. The extrusion models have had carbide plunger tips and stainless steel seats added for longer life. Contact Spraymation Sales Department for details about the new applicators. Weighing less than half a pound, the "ELECTROMATIC" presents no stress to traversing apparatus, yet it delivers the dispensing accuracy and reliability that the Spraymation ELECTROMATIC Series Applicator Heads have maintained for over 30 years. The ELECTROMATIC Applicator Head delivers many advantages when compared to air operated units as supplied by other manufacturers. The ELECTROMATIC Applicator has no dynamic packings or seals to wear or interfere with plunger operation. Its operation is clear and efficient, without leaking or drooling. Frequent maintenance is eliminated because the unit has only one moving part, which provides millions of trouble-free actuation's. Precise amounts of fluid are deposited, exactly where you need them - you do not have to make wasteful allowances for sluggish, imprecise actuation. The ELECTROMATIC is extremely fast, and requires no air for actuation. It is directly actuated by a built-in solenoid coil. It operates on a standard 24 VDC signal from your existing timing controls, and only requires .8 amps.

The newly updated 970 Series THERMOPULSE Units are high performance, trouble free, industrial quality hot melt application systems, with features not previously available except at much higher cost. Compact and ruggedly constructed, an adjustable pressure pulsation free pump, supplies molten adhesive to either a handgun applicator, or one of several types of ELECTROMATIC automatic applicator heads. Sophisticated electronic solid state circuitry controls temperature, at three different zones, with an accuracy of +- 1%. All heater circuits are individually fused. Temperature adjustments are positive and simple to make. A digital display monitors individual temperatures, or scans through all zones. Although it is unlikely that trouble shooting will be needed, a built-in diagnostic circuit displays error codes to enable the user to rapidly determine what steps should be taken for correction. The unit is shipped ready to run upon receipt in your plant. Handguns require no connections. Automatic guns require only a connection to the initiating signal.

The ELECTROMATIC XX automatic applicator head series is used for applications requiring multiple parallel lines or dots of hot melt or similar thermoplastic materials, where accurate placement and amount of material is important. The ELECTROMATIC XXV automatic applicator head series is used in the application of cold materials. The proven design principles of the patented ELECTROMATIC head have been applied to multiple outlet applicators to bring to the operation the advantages that ELECTROMATIC users have enjoyed for over thirty years. HIGH SPEED OPERATION….each outlet directly controlled by its own solenoid coil, with the shut off needle unhindered by any packings. UNSURPASSED ACCURACY…..responds to electrical signals, immediately and repeatedly.. Fire each outlet individually or all outlets together. Use sophisticated controls or simple switches. MINIMUM MAINTENANCE…..one moving part. No dynamic seals to wear or replace. INSTALLATION FLEXIBILITY…..standard models available with two or more outlets on various centers. Use single or multiple orifice tips. Side outlet tips for top and bottom applications. COST COMPETITIVE…..no air valves or piping required. Single hose supplies all outlets.

Slot coaters apply a uniform width pattern. As with all systems employing Slot Nozzle Applicators, the fluid tip (Slot Nozzle) is in direct contact with the product while dispensing the hot melt or cold adhesive. It is the user's responsibility to assure that the product is capable of tolerating the heat present in the fluid tip at operating temperatures. It is also the user's responsibility to assure that the product is supported such that it applies an even, constant pressure against the fluid tip during dispensing of the hot melt, to assure proper application of the material.
