At Statite Corporation we have been producing premium quality custom O-Rings for a broad range of customers in the Western New York region for over 50 years. As a result of our dedication to providing the best quality products and services, many customers in the automotive, aerospace, municipal, fluid handling and food processing industry rely on us for all of their O-Ring, gasket, and die cut product needs. Our expertise encompasses a variety of commonly used O-Ring materials such as Viton, nitrile, neoprene, silicone, EPDM, and PTFE materials, including FDA approved options. With so many material choices available, we can provide standard, metric, or encapsulated O-Rings for any operating condition from -300° to 400°F. O-Rings as small as 3” in diameter to upwards of 300” can be produced in durometer “A” ratings between 40 and 90, providing the needed size and hardness for any sealing application. The method used to produce custom O-Rings is dependent on the size, volume, and performance requirements of the given application. Hot vulcanized O-Rings are produced from extruded cord that is cut and formed to the desired diameter. The joint is cut, spliced and vulcanized to create a durable ring. Hot vulcanized O-Rings offer a balance between cost and performance that is ideal for many sealing application. For critical applications, such as high pressure vacuums, molded O-Rings provide maximum performance and reliability. We produce O-Rings with a cord cross-sectional diameter between 0.070” and 1”. Dimensional tolerances are dependent on size of the ring and customer specifications, but typically average between ±0.062 and ±0.5”. Products are inspected to verify that they meet all customer requirements and each customer receives the highest quality products available. Our versatile manufacturing facility is designed to efficiently produce both small and large custom order quantities with a short lead time. To accommodate customers’ needs, we offer custom stocking solutions, including just-in-time delivery and inventory management.
