Talon Aerospace has developed the first LED logo light replacement for the B737NG aircraft. This unit replaces the halogen based bulb (HLX64621) OEM unit. The LED logo light consists of a mounting rack which holds the LED module and transformer assembly. The rack mounts to the bottom of the OEM lens assembly. The lens, lens gasket and hardware are retained from the original unit. The transformer assembly has the OEM aircraft connector integrated, making this unit virtually plug and play. The LED module is fully repairable. Both the transformer assembly and LED module are line replaceable units. The assembly comes with a five year warranty.

Talon Aerospace sealed beam replacement lamps are designed to allow for plug and play replacement of the existing incandecsent lamps fitted on the aircraft. Talon has 3 sizes available, Par 64 LED Aircraft Landing Lights, Par 46 LED Aircraft Landing and Taxi Lights, Par 36 LED Runway Turn off Lights, LED Engine Scan Lights, LED Wing Scan Lights, and LED Logo Lights. The existing sealed beam lamps have a design life between 100 and 300 hours while the Talon LED replacements are designed for 20, 000 in service hours.

On airframes that have accessibility provisions inside the interior the upper centerline light allows removal from inside the cabin. The harness and adaptor will last the lifetime of the airframe. Talon Aerospace MD10-MD11 LED main deck cargo lights are designed to replace the fluorescent cargo light fixtures found on board both factory build as well as passenger to freighter converted aircraft. Cargo light TAE0128-14C-100 has a compact design at 15in long by 7in wide and 2, 5in tall. The unit weighs 2lbs compared to the fluorescent fixtures which can weigh up to 4lbs. The housing is constructed from Kydex and the lens from Lexan to reduce the frequent damage issues seen on the metal OEM housing. The Talon LED cargo light is designed for 30, 000hrs of operation and is fully repairable. After 30, 000 hours in service operator can replace LED light boards and is not required to replace complete unit, reducing cost of ownership. The replacement parts will be offered in a 100% replacement item kit.
