Imagine a crackling fire that sends smoke drifting over the desert as a man and his horse stand under tall, blue evening skies. That’s the Marlboro Man myth that inspired this addictive unisex fragrance. Perfumer Frank Voelkl embodied the spirit of the American West in a sensual blend of 33 ingredients, including cardamom, iris, violet, and ambrox that add spice, leather, and musk to a smoky combination of Australian sandalwood and cedarwood. Blended to order for an enduring perfume oil.

“Upon arriving in Morocco, a trip to the hammam is always one of my first stops in order to revive, rejuvenate, and relax after the long flight, ” says Kahina founder Katharine L’Heureux. “And there is no more key element in the hammam experience than the cleansing step using Moroccan Beldi soap.” The traditional savon noir is applied with a mitt like this one, which exfoliates from neck to toes. Use the hanging loop to keep it close at hand in the shower or bath.

“À la rose combines my French background with an American sensibility, ” says perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, the nose behind scents for the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Narciso Rodriguez, Dior, and Lanvin. “Rose gives it sparkle and depth, while musk adds sexiness and texture.” Inspired by Marie Antoinette’s favorite blooms, this fresh, soft, and feminine perfume is composed of two varieties of rose—the Damask rose from Bulgaria and the Provence rose, or Rose de Mai, from Grasse—refreshed by a citrusy blend of bergamot, orange, and lemon. The bouquet of roses, velvety violets, and magnolia blossom gains character from woody notes of cedar and musk.

"I wanted to create a dry oil that practically disappears into the skin, leaving oily skin smooth—but never greasy—and yet effectively treated for blemishes and blackheads, ” says Sunday Riley of her Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil. With 1.5% salicylic acid, this fast-acting, quick-drying, medicated formula clears acne and blackhead-causing buildup and debris from congested pores for smoother, blemish-free skin. Tea tree oil and black cumin seed oil support clear skin, while hexylresorcinol and licorice naturally brighten the appearance of old acne discolorations for a more even-toned complexion. Counterbalancing the potentially drying effects of salicylic acid, milk thistle and cucumber seed oil nourish the skin and smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles, without leaving a greasy residue. Chamomile and neroli soothe stressed, blemish-prone skin.

Lumineux (luminous) is the first word that Francis Kurkdjian reaches for to describe his Aqua Universalis. Suitable for women and men, it is “to be used by everyone, everywhere, and at all times, ” says the Paris-based perfumer, who has developed fragrances for the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Narciso Rodriguez, and Dior. Inspired by cleanliness, this all-purpose body oil is utterly fresh, progressing from zesty notes of bergamot and Sicilian lemon to a white bouquet of lily of the valley and sweet orange to a light, musky, and slightly woody finish.

“Oranges and lemons Say the bells of St. Clement’s.” The citrus-infused opening couplet of the beloved English nursery rhyme (about church bells within or close to the City of London) inspired this fresh fragrance from Heeley. The unisex eau de parfum is a new English classic made according to the traditions of French perfumery. Oranges, lemons, bergamot, and neroli combine with notes of Earl Grey tea and vetiver to create a juicy and energizing scent.
