Ti-Coating’s physical vapor deposition (PVD) process utilizes the latest developments in technology to produce multi-layered and composite heat resistant coatings. These coatings provide our clients with tool life that far exceeds standard titanium nitride coatings. We go beyond just coating, working with clients to help solve their coating issues and arrive at efficient solutions. Typically, a variety of carbide and steel products – including those with extremely sharp edges – utilize the PVD coating process. Contact the Ti-Coating customer service department to access the latest coating information regarding your specific application.
CVDphotoChemical vapor deposition (CVD) coatings from Ti-Coating, Inc. provide significant production increases and cost savings on a variety of metal cutting and metal forming applications. Since the introduction of CVD coating technology to the carbide cutting tool industry over 40 years ago, Ti-Coating remains committed to developing and refining this technology in order to broaden the range of applications. In addition to constantly improving upon current technology, we work with our clients to identify the most effective and money-saving methods for addressing their CVD issues. Ti-Coating CVD coatings are the ideal choice for many difficult metal forming and metal cutting applications. Let us show you how we can not only deliver the best result, but also help you identify solutions for any chemical vapor deposition (CVD) coating problems you may encounter, like we do for many clients. Due to the elevated temperature of the chemical vapor deposition process, care must be exercised with regard to material choice. But don’t worry, we’re here to help. Ti-Coating, Inc. offers the cost-effective method of hydrogen fluoride (HF) ion cleaning. Vapor phase hydrogen fluoride ion cleaning (HFIC) was introduced in 1985 as a method to clean gas turbine superalloys. This is a process step in preparation for the repair of cracks and other damage found in field-run high-temperature gas turbine engine components. HFIC is commonly used in the aerospace industry, as well as in land-based power-generating gas turbines. Ti-Coating, Inc. equipment and process technology are the benchmarks of the industry. Our in-house HF service facility boasts FAA certificate number XXNR391L, to clean components for engine manufacturers and repair centers.
