Monitoring and regulating pressure is integral to the vacuum bagging process. It can be a simple leak check of a vacuum bagged part or the precise regulation of vacuum for sensitive components. Torr provides a selection of quality gauges and regulators to help our customers monitor and control pressure.

Inflatables allow pressure to be applied to laminates or assemblies without the use of vacuum or autoclaves. Their construction varies according to the type of tooling being used. Some typical configurations are:
- Totally enclosed molded silicone bladders with inflation stems for applying pressure in a contained environment.

Quick Disconnects Quick Disconnects consist of 2 separate parts. The plug (male half) and the coupler (female half). Each part is ordered individually. The quick-disconnects described here:
- have chemical and heat-resistant Viton seals rated to 400F continuous
- are designed for vacuum and medium pressure service
- are internally valved for instant flow on connect, positive shut-off on disconnect
- are made from heat-treated zinc dichromate-plated steel or stainless steel
- are available in 14", 38", 12".

or autoclave, oven, and room-temp vacuum processes. Formerly green in color, this blue reinforced silicone has become one of the best-selling vacuum hoses in the composites and laminating industry. Its resilient outer covering prevents bag punctures, mold damage, and injuries to users, and the aramid reinforcement is superior to fiberglass and other reinforcements. VH22 is available with a wide array of end fittings, including female 45 SAE and 37 JIC for use as mold and fixture vacuum plumbing lines.

Torr manufactures and stocks a number of silicone extrusions used for vacuum seals, pressure seals, pressure intensifiers and fairing bars. We also maintain an inventory of square and round silicone as well as rectangular Viton shapes. We have limited inventory of silicone tubes but can custom-extrude, mold, or seam almost any diameter. In addition to the extrusions listed below, Torr provides custom extrusions to meet almost any requirement.

High-strength compounds; available with a light fabric finish, unsurpassed in vacuum and pressure bagging performance.
Commercial-grade compounds; available in a wide selection of hardnesses and thicknesses, used in pressure-intensifier and gasket applications not requiring high-strength properties.
Interflow breather pattern rubber; this patented sheeting utilizes high-strength compounds, excellent for proccesses where breather material is not an option.

Companies may purchase a venturi pump only to find they need additional hardware to control and
monitor the vacuum level. Its also common practice to use a bleed valve to control the vacuum level.
Bleed valves waste energy and cant control the vacuum level accurately since theyre succeptable
to upstream pressure variations. Using a compressed air source, the 505X20 utilizes a quiet, highefficiency
venturi pump, coupled with a pressure regulator, to generate vacuum and maintain a
selected vacuum level accurately and efficiently. We also provide a convenient onoff valve and a
2.5 glycerin-filled vacuum gauge with stainless steel case for shock protection and high accuracy

These oilless pumps are very quiet and durable. The 501120 is configured for portability with handle, suction cup feet, side-mounted switch, and power cord. Comes standard with 14 female npt connection and vacuum gauge. Some options are 2- or 3-way ball valves and manifolds.

Vacuum probes (also called vacuum valves, pucks, sniffers, etc.) are an efficient means of providing a threaded connection through different bagging materials and tooling. Torr manufacturers all of the probes shown here to meet the variety of our customers' requirements.
