• ModelAF-5

Tuxco’s Model AF-5 has a unique, patented design that eliminates air and condensation contact with sensitive hydraulic brake fluids while setting new standards of portability and convenience. Made especially for aircraft servicing, it provides an important safety factor for military aviation facilities which have used it since 1970. It is precision built, using only the highest quality materials and workmanship throughout. Different than all other equipment designed, for hydraulic brake fluid service, the AF-5 has a totally enclosed Buna-N bladder contained in a welded, one piece 13 gauge steel tank. There is no flange mounted diaphragm, thus no possibility of the tank leaking corrosive fluids. The tank has a capacity of 5 gallons. All metal parts are epoxy-finished in a chemical resistant gray. Air pressure is maintained in the bladder in order to eject oil from the tank. The bladder expands to approximately the same size as the tank and nearly occupies the entire tank’s volume when the fluid supply is exhausted. The bladder exerts pressure against the oil and forces it out at the bottom of the tank into a hose from which it is ejected through a trigger controlled nozzle, which is attached to an appropriate adapter. The AF-5 weighs 40 lbs. empty…80 lbs. when filled with oil. The unit is transportable in two ways. It is easily wheeled or lifted by means of the uniquely designed handle which is located exactly over the center of gravity. All necessary equipment is included with the basic unit. Twenty feet of dispensing hose, equipped with quick connectors, ready for use, wraps conveniently on a rack. An enclosed tool box, which is attached, contains the trigger gun, O-ring seals, and aircraft adapters.

Dirt and honing debris are every hydraulic systems' worst enemies. Tuxco's CBW-300 Cylinder Washer guarantees that cylinders will be contaminant free when they are reassembled and reinstalled into the field. The CBW-300 uses rotating pressure spray nozzles and rotating brushes to make repaired cylinders factory clean. A powerful 12 GPM diaphragm pump that flushes out all the debris quickly. Two sets of brushes handle cylinders with from 4 to 13 12" bores. Cleaning solution, dirt and debris don't go down the drain. The effluent exits the cylinder under a splash guard to keep the work area clean and dry. It then passes through 25 micron filter bags that cleans the solution, returning it to the Washer tank for reuse. A second filter stack will filter the solution down to 3 microns. Debris is trapped by the filter bags and disposed of with the shop's dry waste. It's a system designed for maximum productivity and to help avoid OSHA and EPA violations.

The Tuxco Model TC-28 Hydraulic Tire Constrictor utilizes hydraulic force to seat tire beads of tubeless tires up to 25 feet in circumference. By applying a predetermined force of up to 15, 000 lbs, the TC-28 spreads the tire beads against wheel rims evenly and tangentially. The TC-28 can be used to mount 14 to 30 bias ply tubeless tires. The Tuxco constrictor adjusts easily to the tire circumference, while the hydraulic pump incorporates an automatic pressure relief bypass making it by far the safest method of mounting large, heavy, difficult-to-handle tires. The Tuxco TC-28 Hydraulic Tire Constrictor is superior in every respect to such tire constricting devices as chains, steel rings, rubber donuts, and the “air-explosion” method.

The Tuxco Model TC-90 Hydraulic Tire Constrictor is the most versatile hydraulic tire constrictor available on the market for mounting bias ply tubeless tires. Choose from either a manual hydraulic pump or the faster, air powered hydraulic pump to seat the beads on wheels that are either on or off the vehicle. The Tuxco TC-90 Hydraulic Tire Constrictor can be used to mount 6 to 30 bias ply tubeless tires. The Tuxco TC-90 Hydraulic Tire Constrictor is superior in every respect to such tire constricting devices as chains, steel rings, rubber donuts, and the “air-explosion” method.

The Tuxco Model HCS-30 Hydraulic Cylinder Servicer includes a double acting torquer cylinder as well as our built-in, high speed hydraulic nut runner to make hydraulic cylinder repair jobs faster, easier, and safer than ever before. This model provides a technician with all of the tools that he needs to quickly repair tough and hard to handle hydraulic cylinders. All of the functions of the HCS-30 are powered by a 5 HP, 3 Phase hydraulic power supply. Low voltage solenoid valves are activated by a six push button pendant control, which allows the operator to position himself in various positions around the servicer at his discretion. At the push of a button, a single operator can generate up to 30, 000 lb-ft (4140 kg-m) of torque to loosen threaded glands and piston retaining nuts. Our built-in High Speed Hydraulic Nut Runner then provides 5, 000 lb-ft (690 kg-m) of torque at 8 RPM to quickly remove the loosened gland or nut.
