All of the parts that are exposed to the airstream are constructed of high-quality corrosion resistant materials to avoid material breakdown from most chemicals. Application The BCS Backward Curved High VolumePressure Fan is designed for handling relatively clean air in high pressure applications. Typical applications include combustion air, product cooling, moisture blow-off, forced draft on fluid bed boilers, and induced draft after baghouse process blowers. The BCS wheel features heavy-gauge steel construction and a non-overloading wheel design, suitable for applications requiring large volumes of air at moderate to high pressures. All wheels are statically and dynamically balanced to grade G6.3 per ANSI S2.19 for smooth operation prior to assembly of the fan, followed by a final balance of the entire rotating assembly. Application The BAE-SW Centrifugal Fan is designed to handle large volumes of relatively clean air at low to moderate pressures in applications such as HVAC, combustion air supply, filtration and drying systems, fume hood and spray booth and other exhaust systems, air pollution control (clean side of dust collectors) and other industrial processes. The BAE-SW is constructed with an airfoil wheel and incorporates hollow airfoil blades for higher efficiencies and better sound quality. All housings are reinforced with rigid bracing to increase structural integrity. The support angles are intermittently welded and caulked between welds to prevent bleed-through corrosion. Application The BC-SW Centrifugal Fan is designed to handle large volumes of relatively clean air at low to moderate pressures in applications such as HVAC, combustion air supply, filtration and drying systems, fume hood and spray booth and other exhaust systems, air pollution control (clean side of dust collectors), industrial processes. Wheels are constructed of steel using flat single thickness blades, solid welded to the rim and backplate. The inlet-side rim is designed as a proper companion for the inlet cone. All wheels are statically and dynamically balanced to grade BV3 per AMCA 204 for smooth operation prior to being assembled in the fan, followed by final balance of the entire rotating assembly. All BC-SW fan housings are continuously welded and reinforced with rigid bracing to increase structural integrity. The support angles are intermittently welded and caulked between welds to prevent bleed-through corrosion.
