Avtechs 7522 VHF panels tune both ARINC 500 & 700 analog and digital radios, affording mixed-fleet airlines part commonality. One part number for both radio types reduces costly part number tracking and maintenance, while providing spares commonality and seamless upgrades. Able to tune both 8.33kHz and 25kHz radios, the 7522 offers optimum versatility. Offered with a full five year equipment warranty, the 7522 series is robust. Avtech pushed performance to the limit - and then some by using Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT), where ever increasing levels of stress were applied (thermal, vibration, and electrical) until failure. Once the failure was determined, it was fixed, then sent back to HALT, resulting in a very rugged design.

Avtech offers a full range of jack panels for use throughout the aircraft from ground crew interphone panels, shielded from the harmful effects of the weather to flight deck jack panels which are installed in the cockpit. Avtechs jack panels range from simple, no electronics interfaces to more elaborate panels with high and low impedance inputs and outputs.

The use of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) equipment for flight deck audio provides significant commercial and technological advantages to removing the system that came standard with the airframe and installing an entirely new audio system.

Avtechs CSD-10 SELCAL Decoder is a cost-effective way to include selective calling to a communications system in both new aircraft and retrofit applications. The CSD-10 is in operation aboard airlines, business aircraft and helicopters throughout the world.

The N1304B-1 SELCAL encoder console includes the latest state-of-the-art tone sourcing that generates all 16 SELCAL frequencies. In operation, the console operator simply selects the four-digit code assigned to the aircraft, confirms correct selection on the large alpha display, and momentarily presses the SEND button. Relay contacts within the unit can be wired to automatically key the base station, causing the selective signaling to be automatically transmitted. Optionally, the operator can control the encoder entirely from an external computer via the included RS-232 interface and software control module

Avtech has a full line of Audio Control Panels (ACP) for the aviation industry ranging from the full digital Boeing 777 panel to legacy fully contained analog panels. Avtechs vertical integration, coupled with our extensive lighting experience ensures that the panel will meet the design constraints of the target application; be it a military or commercial application.

An important aspect of Avtechs audio systems is the speakers. Avtech offers a full range of speaker options, specifically tailored for installation into the target aircraft. Avtechs speakers are wound and fabricated to Avtechs specifications and feature, high efficiency and low weight as well as flame retardant speaker cones. Speakers can be raw speakers with crimp style interconnections or enclosed speakers with interface connectors, dependant upon customer preference.

Avtech CVR Audio Mixers are designed to comply with FAA regulations mandating cockpit voice recorders for all multi-engine, turbine-powered aircraft that require two crew members and seat six or more passengers. Unless audio panels are replaced or modified, Avtech CVR Audio Mixers are needed to sum and route audio signals from microphones, headphones and speakers to the cockpit voice recorder. Proven Avtech audio technology provides hot mic biasing, adjustable channels for balancing audio levels, and paired pins to make installations easy and economical. Both single- and dual-station units are available. And, of course, these systems are qualified to TSO C50c requirements.

Avtechs CTS-700 ramp test set tests ICAO standard SELCAL decoding systems, HF and VHF radio systems, audio systems, and ATSCALL or DTMF selective calling decoders that reside on the aircraft. Battery-powered and totally independent of ground facilities, the CTS-700 generates the RF and tone signals needed to activate the system under test.

Avtechs custom designed speakers are designed and matched to the application and interface directly with Avtechs unique Class D Passenger Address amplifier. Each speaker uses a high impedance coil and rare earth magnet to achieve the lightest possible weight yet ensuring the best possible speech intelligibility.
