B67 Chair

The B66 Chair is made from a single piece of wool felt with areas stiffened by resin to provide structure. The design utilizes the considerable compression strength inherent to cylinders, similar to Peter Murdochs spotty chair. The seat is lashed together with a single cotton strap

The B67 Chair is an attempt to simplify the furniture assembly process further by using a zipper rather than the strap used in the previous chair. The chair transforms from flat to assembled by pulling one zipper. The structure of the B67 Chair is a polypropylene sheet sewn to the back of the felt.

Folded Rotomolding

This process involves folding an enclosed mold out of sheet material like paper or plastic. Various casting materials such as resin and chocolate are then poured into the mold and rotated via rotomolding machine or by hand. After the material has set, the mold is removed and the part inside is hollow. Applications of this process range from lighting to chocolate making.

These bowls, inspired by the motion of origami kaleidocycles, are comprise of 3 geometric pieces that are connected with copper rivets. Because of it's kaleidocycle-like motion, it is able to rotate into 2 different orientations. The pieces are made using polyethylene and felt.

The Felt Folding Stool brings origami and flat pack together in a piece of furniture. The felt is saturated with resin in a specific pattern to create rigid panels with flexible non-resined seams like a folded sheet of paper. This allows the felt to fold up into a stool or collapse flat for easy storage and transportation.
