To produce the aluminum Spir-o-lizer shown here, we utilized a variety of turning and 3D milling techniques to form the curves, recesses, and variable profile geometry of this component. Our high quality machining of the smallest details enabled us to maintain very tight dimensional tolerances of 0.005 on this Spir-o-lizer, which featured a 21.0 outer diameter and length of 21.75. We also applied a painted blue finish in accordance with the customer specification.

Westfield Machine, Inc. has consummate experience for manufacturing components that provide longevity in the most demanding environments. We manufactured the custom crosshead components pictured here for use in a lifting application in the oilfield industry. Constructed from A633 steel plate, we utilized our 4-axis milling equipment, which enabled us to create tool paths for cutting the complex shape at high speed in this tough material with no loss of accuracy. Featuring overall dimensions of 8.0 in width, 12.0 in length, and 1.5 in thickness, we machined the parts with a 125 surface finish.
We conducted final inspections in accordance with the sector-specific quality standards of the petroleum industry, and verified that we met the .005 tolerance requirements. The customer was assured of receiving components that would provide zero-fail performance in tough oilfield conditions.

We manufactured the custom quick disconnect stabbing guide and stabbing body components shown here, and our project management skills helped us optimize set up times and implement best methods of manufacture.
Fabricated from A108 carbon steel, this large-scale assembly features an outer diameter of 50 and components with lengths up to 72. We utilized our computer-controlled equipment and 6-jaw chucking system to machine the components with no distortion on the straightness, profile, concentricity, and all other geometric features. Dimensional inspection verified that we maintained tolerances of .005, while magnetic particle inspection revealed that it was free of flaws that could potentially compromise its performance in an offshore application. Our commitment to quality assured that this assembly would provide long-term use through rough seas and adverse weather conditions.

Through a combination of manufacturing processes, including milling, turning, and stamping, Westfield Machine, Inc. cost effectively produced the custom bronze drive gears shown here for a customer in the oilfield industry. Featuring an outer diameter of 4.0 and measuring 1.25 in thickness, we fabricated them from an aluminum brass alloy, which exhibits very high strength and outstanding corrosion resistance in seawater. Manufactured and inspected according to the processes defined in our API ISOTS 29000 and API Spec Q1 quality management system, we were able to achieve exceptional, verified accuracy of .0005 throughout the 50 unit order.

Westfield Machine, Inc. is a full-service provider of low-volume precision components manufactured according to the highest quality standards. We manufactured the heavy-duty drive gear set pictured here for use in the construction industry. Machined from 4340 alloy steel, the two drive gear measure 36 in length and feature a 15 outer diameter. We set up our milling equipment to execute a variety of machining strategies to cut the complex features with reliable precision while providing a smooth, defect-free 32 surface finish. Heat treated to achieve a 3840 Rockwell hardness to ensure it would have the strength to withstand the high-load application, we finish machined the components to within ultra-tight .005 tolerances.

Westfield Machine, Inc. is well-regarded supplier of superior quality components for use in the oilfield industry. For this project, we were asked to manufacture the annular components shown here for use in a hydraulic system. Material of construction was premium grade 8630 steel alloy, and we used our high-capacity CNC machining centers to efficiently turn and mill the large 22 diameter work pieces while maintaining .002 tolerances.
