Williams Foam is a small, family owned business that uses state-of-the-art water jet cutting equipment to cut foams for the aerospace, manufacturing, and building industries. Our specialty production shop features an expert staff with over 30 years of combined experience. Although Williams Foams new 3-axis Mach 2B Water jet cuts polyurethane, polystyrene, and polyethylene foams to industry standard tolerances of 18", it can easily reach even tighter tolerances of 0.005" per 3' at 68 3F. The Mach 2B Water jet delivers a maximum water jet pressure of 60, 000 psi while minimizing part stress and reducing or eliminating secondary operations. Moving at a maximum cutting speed of 200minute with a maximum kerf of .05", Williams can handle foam thicknesses up to 12" on a cutting table that expands all the way to 120" X 79". In addition to water jet cutting, we also provide foam component assembly, die and contour cutting, and hot wiring. We will laminate foams and sheeting, perforate, and perform skiving. Williams Foam provides quotes on a job-by-job basis, although emergency and rush services are available. Our water jet cutting equipment can produce anything from a single prototype to large volume runs.
