Authentic Mondaine Swiss Railway Watch Strap with Mondaine stamped on the inside of the leather strap, and embossed on the buckle. This strap fits the most common Mondaine watches from the Evolution range (smooth rounded profile), and it's relation the Classic model which in profile has a square look. The straps come in 2mm size differences - 12, 16, 18, 20 and 22. Look on the reverse of the strap at the tongue end and there should be a number. 20 = 20mm for example. Even on worn straps the number should be visible as it is embossed, so shining sunlight or strong artificial light over it should reveal it. If this dosn't work, measure the gap between the stanchions that hold the strap to the watch - don't measure the strap as it might be distorted. Take care but if you do get it wrong it's not a hanging offence and we are happy to swap them out for you. Complete your selection of the colour of the strap and whether the buckle is shiny chrome or mat brushed finish. White faced watches are usually shiny buckle whilst black faced ones are brushed. We are sometimes out of stock of one or the other, so if this is not important to you select "whatever" as an option (the difference is negligible). Not all options occur for all variations, so as you select, the appropriate options will be revealed. Certain straps come in an extra long length. Strap lengths are: size 16mm - tail length (fixing to last hole) 103mm, buckle length (fixing to buckle bar) 95mm. 18mm are the same measurements, . 22mm measurements are 117mm and 100mm respectively.

This dual ended springbar removal tool can remove watch strap quickly and easily. Insert the fork end between the lug and the strap and seek out the small ridge on the springbar. Pull back the tool and ease out the springbar which releases it. To change a buckle which is held in place with another springbar, insert the pointed end into the hole on one side of the buckle joining point, and push in which will release the buckle. You may need to assist the removal by slightly twisting the buckle against the strap.

Sold in pairs, this is the clever bit with a spring at both ends that holds the watch strap in place between the stanchions or lugs. Note: If you are buying a replacement strap, it comes with springbars included.
