Woodward Industries, Inc. recently manufactured a series of blow molds for a company that supplies their own unique version of Kayaks. Meeting a .001 of an inch precision tolerance, we used our advanced blow molding technology to produce these boat molds, based on customer design ideas. Constructed from aluminum materials, each kayak mold contained one cavity and included special features, such as attached mounting rails and gun-drilled water lines. A hydaulic cylinder was used to creat the negative feature side handle. In addition, all units were sand blasted to create a beautiful finish. We also designed each Kayak blow mold to have a 1.018 shrinkage allowance to ensure that when the boat contracted during solidification, the units would still meet client specifications. Offering many years of expertise in the mold making business, Woodward Industries, Inc. was able to employ our blow molding technology to successfully manufacture a series of kayak molds that met our client's high expectations for quality.

A leading supplier of critical medical components and devices contracted Woodward Industries, Inc. to manufacture a series of black urethane battery molds. Used in life-saving medical components and devices, these battery molds needed to meet our client's high expectations for quality. Specializing in custom tooling and mold making, Woodward Industries, Inc. was entrusted to manufacture these custom molds for GreatBatch. We were able to produce these molds to meet precise client specifications. Upholding a .001 of an inch precision tolerance, we used a CNC RenShape plug to construct each component. Drawn from a customer supplied pdf drawing, each of our urethane battery molds was equipped with one or more cavities, a plexiglass top, and a series of release knobs. Combining our advanced technology with years of expertise, we were able to successfully produce a series of black urethane battery molds that met our client's precise requirements for both quality and functionality.

A leading supplier of children's toys contracted Woodward Industries, Inc. to manufacture, paint and assemble a series of Jeep toy models. Through our advanced CNC assembly operations, we were able to manufacture and paint each toy model to meet precise client specifications. Meeting .001 of an inch precision tolerance, we constructed each model from RenShape 450 polyurethane modeling and styling board. Based off customer supplied CAD design files, each model was carefully assembled following our customer specific assembly guidelines and tolerances. After assembly was complete, we provided each model with a smooth, painted finish. Specializing in mold and model making assembly operations, Woodward Industries, Inc. was able to successfully manufacture a series of Jeep models for this major toy supplier.
