Utilizing a customer-supplied 3D CAD model and specifications, we formed the steel spokes with one of our 125 Ton press brakes. A unique custom built tool was necessary to achieve this unique shape made from 14" thick steel material and shows how our company goes the extra mile to ensure quality and precision on all of sheet metal bending projects. In addition to showcasing our laser cutting and forming expertise, this project enabled us to bring our spot-welding and fusing capabilities to the forefront. The 2-516" high part was finished with zinc plating; it underwent dimensional and visual inspections for quality and precision, and was completed within 3 weeks. The customer orders 350 spinner spokes per year, a testament to our craftsmanship and customer-centric objectives.

A customer in the commercial and service machinery manufacturing industry recently contracted with us for a card input base plate laser cutting project after hearing our reputation for quality, cost-effective results. This card base input plate is used in the manufacturing of a piece of equipment that produces financial and identification cards. The laser cutting utilized our 4, 000 watt CO2 laser and 125 ton CNC-controlled press brake. It also tapped our forming, bending, and reaming capabilities to form the cold rolled steel part. Measuring 29.21" long x 8.91" wide x 3.75 inches high, with tolerances of ± 0.005" and angular tolerances of ±1⁰.

This photocell is used in equipment that produces financial and identification cards. It represents a complex sheet metal component that required precision forming and single piece construction. Our state of the art equipment and skilled craftsmen enable us to accomplish even the most complex bends and forming with consistent, precise results. Based on customer specifications and a 3D CAD drawing, we formed the 9.41" long x 5.53" wide x 3.82" high part out of cold rolled steel with tolerances of ±0.005". The photocell was finished with zinc plating and completed within 3 weeks.

The mounting plate, a component in the assembly of a flight deck for a flight simulator, measured 16.83" long x 12.71" wide x 3.10" high. Utilizing our laser cutting, forming, and welding expertise, as well as grinding, machining, and assembly capabilities, we fabricated the seat mounting plate from AISI 1018 steel in 3 weeks. This project is a 12 gage weldment and provides a good example of the various manufacturing we can accommodate. The forming is complex and the tolerances make this a precision part that requires CNC forming and attention to detail.
