The hardest blasting of all available media, silicon carbide media is manufactured to a blocky grain shape that splinters for sharp edges during blasting. This hardness allows shorter blast times, and the media can be reused many times. It has no free silica, generates no static electricity, and has minimal magnetic content. Use silicon carbide for applications such as glass engraving and stone etching.
