Specialty HVAC TanksAAtanks specialty tanks are designed to fit the needs of HVAC systems, hot water and cold water systems, boiler systems and for many more applications. Products include buffer tanks, blowdown tanks, flash tanks, glycol makeup packages, chemical pot feeder tanks, primary and secondary headers. Buffer TanksAAtanks manufactures 2 types of buffer tanks: chilled water bufffer tanks (CBT) and hot water buffer tanks (HBT) CBT Chilled Water Buffer TanksChilled water Buffer Tanks (CBT) are designed for chilled water systems with insufficient water volume capacity, in relation to the chiller capacity. Relatively low water volume systems require additional "buffer" capacity for the system to eliminate problems such as excessive chiller cycling, poor temperature control, and erratic system operation. The properly sized CBT adds the necessary volume to buffer the system volume. A properly sized AAtanks Hot Water Buffer Tank adds necessary thermal mass to the system to dampen fast transitions and minimize boiler cycling that occurs during zero or low domestic load conditions. This equipment is essential because it is undesirable to discharge the boiler blowdown directly to a sanitary sewer. This reduced pressure steam is then used to supply heat to a "low" pressure supply main. It can also be used to reduce and cool to low-pressure steam before re-introducing it to the boiler or condensate receiver, or discharge directly from the system. The vessels are available in standard volumes from 13 to 180 gallons. Sparge and drop-leg designs are also available to meet any design condition. The engineered package is designed to ensure that critical minimum system pressure levels are maintained. AAtanks offers four types of glycol systems, including the Glymatic (single system package), the GMP (single system package), the GMPD (singledual system package), and the GMPT (twin pump with alternator package). Glymatic SystemAAtanks Glymatic system consists of a free-standing solutions reservoir that contains the glycolwater or water solution at atmospheric pressure. A pressurization assembly is mounted on the solutions reservoirs high density polymer cover, keeping the pressurization unit off the floor. This GMP-series is available with 50 or 100 gallon reservoir capacities and 13 and 12-HP pump pressurization control station with magnetic starter. GMP Simplex Glycol Makeup PackageDownload GMP Simplex Glycol Makeup Package Duplex SystemThe AAtanks double system GMP is designed to automatically service two separate closed-loop systems. This GMPD-series is available with 50 or 100 gallon reservoir capacities and 13 and 12-HP pump pressurization control station with magnetic starter. Typically used in hydronic and process piping systems. The tank shall incorporate a chemical fill basin with a minimum dimension of 6" to help facilitate complete introduction of required solutions. The PSA is designed to keep both connected hydraulic circuits completely independent from one another and to provide a means for system air elimination. The PSAV builds on that functionality with the inclusion of Internal coalescence coils in the tank that eliminate entrained air and separate debris associated with start-up and maintenance of the system. As a result, the PSAV replaces the need for an airdirt separator.
