Aluminum Sun Shades

All Ametco Aluminum Sun shades are manufactured to order from extruded aluminum tubing. The extruded aluminum tubes are welded into the frame at either 45 or 90 degrees and spaced to achieve 60 degrees incident angle of sun shade. Most sunshades are horizontally mount above the window but Ametco can also custom fabricate vertical sunshades to meet your requirements. Once an order is placed detail drawings of sunshade and out riggers are furnished for your approval before fabrication is started. After fabrication the Sunshades are then powder coated to one of 15 standard colors or a custom color match for lasting beauty. Ametcocertifies that its Sunshades system is free from defects in material and workmanship. The polyester coated metal is guaranteed not to crack, peel or blister for a period of 20 years.

Louver Sun Shades

Ametco Mfg. Corp. Fixed Louver Sun Shades are fabricated in steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. All three materials are powder coated to one of 15 standard colors after fabrication. The Fixed Louver Sun shades are in two styles. Style 201 gives 80% direct visual screening and Style 202 gives 100% direct visual screening.

Perforated Metal Sun Shades

Ametco perforated Sun Shades begin with 18" thick aluminum or galvanized sheets that provide from 10% to 50% open area. There are numerous patterns and styles of perforations to choose from. The angle or tube frame required is engineered for each job based on the span and depth . After fabrication Ametco's Sun Shades are finished with a polyester powder coating. The powder coating gives an extra tough of appeal to the sunshade, harmonizing with its surroundings.
