Our supply of stainless steel square bars come in both the cold drawn and hot rolled condition. Most of our square bar products 3 and under is cold drawn, although it can be hot rolled. Cold drawn bar is shinier in appearance and has a tolerance that is similar to the hot rolled material, which is usually slightly over-sized. Most of our square bar is supplied in 12 random lengths but can be cut to size for orders.

When it comes to cutting steel plates, the options are almost limitless. Plasma or Water-jet stainless steel cutting each have their own advantages and disadvantages, and Atlantic Stainless is happy to work with you to achieve the exact specifications for your project. Our stainless steel round bar is generally sold in the annealed condition, although some grades such as 17-4 or certain 400 series grades may be hardened by heat-treating. The standard length for most size round bars is 12-14 random lengths, but lengths are available in some sizes up to 20 and longer. Finishes on bars can vary and include cold drawn, centerless ground, smooth turned, rough turned, turned ground and polished, and HRAP.

Our stainless flat bar products are divided into two primary groups true flat bar and sheared and edged. A true flat bar is usually in the HRAP condition though it may sometimes be cold drawn. This bar has fairly sharp corners and tighter tolerances on thickness and width than sheared and edged and is often used by fabricators where the finished project is polished. Sheared and edged material is cut from plate, and then put through a process which straightens the bars and cleans up the edges. This is a much more cost effective way to buy a flat bar when corner sharpness and tolerances arent critical. The standard lengths of true bar are 12-14 random lengths, while sheared and edged bars typically come in 12 dead lengths.

In our extensive line of products, we offer stainless steel sheets and plates.Stainless steel sheet is typically sold in the annealed condition and is available in most grades. Our stainless steel sheets come in both a standard 2B finish and various polished finishes. Polished surfaces range from the standard #4 to a mirrored finish #8 and are usually covered with a removable vinyl coating. Our standard sheet sizes include 4 x 8, 4 x 10, and 5 x 10, but customized sizes are also available. Cut sheet is generally sheared to size, but may be laser cut or waterjet cut upon special request.Stainless steel plate is sold in the HRAP (Hot Rolled Annealed and Pickled) condition and finish. Like sheet, stainless steel plate comes in standard sizes varying in width from 4 to 8 and in length from 8 to 20, but can also be customized to suit the application. Stainless cut plate may be sheared in thicknesses up to 38, and plasma cut in thicknesses over that. Waterjet, band-saw, or laser cutting is also available. Our hot-rolled annealed stainless steel angle is offered in both equal and unequal leg lengths. This product is ideal for structural applications that require strength and durability as the inside radius corner reinforces the shape. The steel angle also offers exceptional corrosion resistance for environments that are acidic, chemical-heavy, and even freshwater or saltwater saturated.Available Steel Grades: 304304L and 316316L.We will custom saw cut to length.Polishing services are available.

Using a welded tube is typically a more cost effective option for use in low pressure, ornamental, and structural applications. Some welded sizes come pre-polished to an 180 grit (similar to a #4), but we can have all tubing custom polished per your specifications. The seamless tube should be used in high-pressure applications.Stainless steel pipe is also available as both a welded and seamless product. We stock a wide variety of pipe fittings from elbows and tees to valves and flanges, as well as our most popular handrail sizes in a pre-polished to 180 grit.
