The ECM-3000C is a computer controlled marking system capable of marking cylindrical and linear connector products on the same platform. Cylindrical products such as connector bodies or back shells are set on the spindle and rotated while the inkjet printer is triggered. Linear products are positioned on a T-slot table. The print head is rotated 90 degrees with an adapter fitting and is then traversed over the top of the linear device to make the mark. All print head movement and positioning is controlled from the ECS connector marking software. Print head position and rotary speed data are entered on the touch screen or recalled from the database. Message data for the printer can be typed manually

he HMP-1520 Advanced Part marking system was designed specifically for aerospace product identification. The system can mark parts as small as fasteners to as large as wing spars from the same platform. The working part of the system couples an industrial inkjet printer to our AS-1000H Handheld transport device. The AS-1000H provides motion of the inkjet print head across the product to create the identification mark. The print head does not touch the product which allows the mark to conform to the rough or contoured surfaces. The JETMARK I Traverser is a family of short range extend-retract motion controllers designed for inkjet printing on stationary products. The end adapter can accommodate CIJ, HP cartridge or other DOD printers. The unit is available in three stroke lengths 0 - 2", 0 - 4", and 0 - 6". The traverse speed is adjustable from 0 - 8"sec. The JETMARK I is actuated by any dry contact closure. When activated the controller will provide an 0 - 30 VDC output trigger to the inkjet printer and start the in-out motion. The trigger will be held on until the end of the return stroke. The system comes complete with motion actuator, controller, adjustable mounting stand, 12' trigger cable, and foot switch with a 6' cord.

The AS1000H functions as a transporter to move an inkjet print head past a product at a fixed speed while applying the part mark . However, bringing large products within the reach of the marker's umbilical was difficult, and moving the part marker where it was needed required electrical and air connections. The Power Cart addresses this by supplying its own power. Using AGM rechargeable batteries , the HMP-1510 system with a fixed battery pack unit can operate up to 8 hours before recharging. The onboard invertercharger allows the system to recharge at any convenient 120 VAC outlet during use to extend battery operation. Using the optional dual battery pack allows 12 hour operation on one pack while the other pack charges in the change station. The cart aligns and locks into the change station where the battery packs are pulled on and off using rollers. Plunger pins safely hold the packs in place on the cart and in the charge station.
